Initial Planning Meeting

We all decided first of all that the music video we would make would be in the ‘RnB’ or ‘Hip Hop’ genre because they are both genres we all individually enjoy listening to. As a group we watched many videos together and wrote a list as to which videos we would consider to do ourselves.

After making this shortlist we each decided on our own personal ‘Top 3’:

Here we saw that ‘All of the Lights’ came up in all of our choices, therefore we decided that this would be a mutual song that everyone would enjoy producing. Ultimately, we all wanted to do collaboration, as there are 2 boys and 2 girls in our group so we saw it fairer for a member of each sex to be involved in the video itself. Our initial ideas for the music videos were to do a fun video that still has a slight sex appeal, as we don’t want to sway to far from the original video.
