I took on the role as Director and Editor for our music video. I found this quite demanding at times, in the editing stage especially as I had no previous experience at all of editing before this, and it was also my first time using Final Cut Pro. The majority of the video has been shot in the studio in a 5 day period using the Green Screen, however through using a variety of different visual effects and cut rates throughout the video, the use of green screen was a success.
I spent approximately 2 weeks editing the music video in total. The most challenging aspect of the editing was matching the lip synching to the music, but as I took a lot of footage of the performers in the filming stage, this made it possible to cut from the different scenes filmed frequently.
